Hello! I am Gail, Endorsed Midwife, Clinical Educator & Creator of The Nesting Hub - which is located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.

I am a Mum of two beautiful girls and one fur child, a Wife, and a 24/7 on-call Midwife. Life is busy, but fun! I am a ‘cup half full’ kind of gal, I search for the positives in every day, with smiles & hugs being part of who I am, and overall, I feel very grateful to be living this life.

As a Scottish Midwife, who graduated from Edinburgh Napier University in 1998, and who worked in the NHS for many years, I have ABSOLUTELY LOVED my career across the past 26 years, with almost 12 years of that being in Australia. The passion I have for what I do has grown exponentially over the years, in caring for, and supporting women / birthing people, couples & families at such a special time in their lives.

It makes my heart sing.

Since becoming an Endorsed Midwife, I have cared for many choosing to labour & birth at home, and for those choosing a hospital birth too. I provide continuity of midwifery care in pregnancy, labour, birth and up until 6 weeks afterwards, and I also offer perinatal support, childbirth education & parenthood education. In addition, with being 24/7 on-call….I am ‘ready to act’ at any time, when babies decide that it’s time to enter this world . I feel so blessed to offer this bespoke service to people in the comfort & safety of their own homes, where they are surrounded by those they love, and where space, people, support, care, love & normal physiology are front and centre.
